Enroute to Ladakh, the next day, we got up early and drove towards the Dal Lake, the jewel of Srinagar. One can witness the stunning beauty with the breathtaking views of Pir Panjal mountains, the houseboats in the lake, and the painted Shikaras.
There are a number of places to visit in Leh, as this place gives you so many attractions with eye-catching views. Depending upon the time and budget you can fill your heart with lots of unforgettable memories. Ladakh is full of various colors and you will get different views in different seasons.
AMS is a type of altitude sickness which can vary from mild to severe. When you are traveling at a high altitude it is very obvious to feel some symptoms like headache, nausea, congestion in the chest, or shortness of breath and you may feel some trouble in sleeping. Usually, these symptoms occur at about 8,000 ft above sea level.
Ladakh is most visited because of Khardung La Pass, Nubra Valley and, Pangong Tso Lake. To visit these places it is mandatory to obtain the Inner line permit for all the tourists to enter special zones in Ladakh. To get the permit, visit DC’s office as early as you can otherwise you will be stuck in the queue
Remember, the locals of the Ladakh do not allow outside rented bikes. So you would have to rent a new bike in Leh to roam around Ladakh. Also, the conditions of the bike in Manali is not that good. So be sure while renting the bike from the dealers.
